Phandari bhajan mandali near Bettakote, Devanahalli gets very busy when there is no rains in the area. They do a unique bhajan for the whole night for two or three days for the rain god to show mercy . The team of 12 -20 headed by a guru wears a unique dress specially made for bhajans and sing all night for two days . They are accompanied by a tabla player and a harmonium player . The team also travels to distant villages for performing bhajans in the drought hit areas.
